  • I had a chance to see the new Indiana Jones movie. I liked the first 2/3rd of it. Is it just me or should Indiana Jones and spacemen be reserved for separate genres. Odd stuff. There was enough in the first half that made the movie worth it to me, but yikes.

  • I’m reading the Chronicles of Narnia as part of a book club right now. In the spirit of that I saw the recent Prince Caspian movie as well as the BBC version of Prince Caspian and Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I think BBC stands for “Bad British Children” as far acting goes. Maybe it’s “Boring British Children” though I don’t have any issues with British children in general.
  • My brother-in-law has an aversion to little British children. He is really bothered by them. He really should stay away from the BBC Chronicles then. Rough stuff.
  • I’m 99% convinced that the beloved character Reepicheep in the aforementioned books is played by the same actor that played the main character in the movie Willow. The voice was familiar through the watching of it and I think it was the same actor’s name. For all of you hoping to view more of this little person’s mad acting skills, you know where to find him. I prefer the digital mouse from Disney’s Caspian myself. Love Willow though. That’s some good stuff.
  • Loved the Disney version of Prince Caspian though. Heard a few peeps that were down on it for various reasons, but I now believe they’re out to lunch. That movie was nails and I was thoroughly surprised. I wasn’t sure if they could make that book into a good movie, but they did and I liked a lot of the creative license that they took to make a better movie.
  • Played basketball this morning for the 1st time in 2 years. Pain. My legs felt like Jello. Much burning and aching in the knees and joints.
