Morgan’s Birthday Haiku’s!

by Beav on March 16, 2009

The birthday Haiku tradition continues in our family as Morgan requested that we all do what I had everyone do at my family birthday get together. I’ve gathered them all and had to share them here. I’ve kept them anonymous to protect the authors :)

Morgan Joy so kind
I’m so proud to have as mine
a niece so lovely

Her face I carry
with me wherever I go
Aunt, what an honor!
(delivered while holding a travel coffee mug with Morgan’s picture)

Need my Morgan fix
“Quite a collection of sticks”
Cheerios for lunch!
(Composed in memory of the 1 day this uncle got to babysit Morgan by himself)

Our Miracle
She started tiny
But changed our lives so HUGELY!
Life was grey…now, pink!

All the Pretty Colors
She likes to wear pink,
jump on clouds, sit in flowers.
Her smile’s a rainbow

Snuggly, warm next to you
Sleeping on the trundal with you
Papa wants a turn too!

Pretty little four year old
Happy, Joyful and fun to be with
Papa loves building you things

Morgan won my heart
When she was very tiny
Wonderful girl now

My first born granddaughter
Sensitive-special-smart-strong
Who You ARE – blesses…

Morgan, I Love You!
You are my pink, my rainbow
I love who you are!

She’s pretty in pink
She’s bright, thoughtful, great questions!
My beautiful girl
