Free Leadership Conference Online

by Beav on August 28, 2009

I just found out that Southeastern University is partnering with lifechurch.tv to webcast their March 2009 Servant Leadership Conference on September 10th & 11th.  There are 12 speakers.  Not all may float your boat, but they include figures like Jack Welch, Patrick Lencioni, Henry Cloud, Erwin McManus, and You can attend for free, but you have to register at the following link:http://www.seuleadershipforum.com/webcastI attended in person the 2008 Servant Leadership Forum in Lakeland, Florida and had a phenomenal experience.  I thought there was an ethos to the event that I haven’t experienced in a lot of conference settings.  I went because of the specific servant leadership emphasis.  For thoughts on the ’08 Forum, search my blog with “The Forum” and it should turn out a few posts related to the ’08 Forum that had speakers like Lencioni, Marcus Buckingham, McManus, and Gen. Colin Powell. They haven’t posted the schedule of who is speaking when, but if you register then you’ll get the information you need.   I am booked for most of the 10th, but am planning on doing as much of the 11th as I can.Let me know if you plan on participating.

This sounds very interesting. Are you also going to listen in on the other leadership conference that Margaret had sent out information on that’s being held on the 9th? I registered for that one, but I guess since it’s all online and you can listen in as you’re free, I might go ahead and register for this one too. :)

I’m registered for “The Nines” too. There will be a very different feel between these two with different purposes. Actually, we have our team planning days from 9/8 – 9/10 so I’m limited in what I can watch in real time on Wed. & Thurs. I’m hoping some of this is left up online for some flexible viewing. When the schedules come out with more specificity, I might see if there are things that are can’t miss and schedule around them. I plan on doing the Leadership Forum on Friday, the 11th for the most part in full.
