You can see a longer summary of the coaching group I’m working to start up in November here. Now that we’re going into October, I wanted to send another update and add a couple thoughts that might help you if you’re on the fence.I was talking to someone recently about some of what I was hoping to provide in terms of leadership development. Here’s what I’m working towards in addition to what I’ve passed it on:1. Understanding your leadership identity and formation.2. Learning to lead amidst the parts and the whole of emotional systems and learning to function maturely in any emotional system (family, teams, organizations).3. Learning how to lead from a position of power. Understanding how your power affects other people and how to you use it to serve and empower (relational servant leadership).4. Learning to lead from a position of no or little power. Understanding how to function prophetically and freely when you don’t have positional authority or are in a negative situation.5. Learning to chart out your own leadership development in the areas that most impact your leadership in relationships (i.e. non-skill based leadership development).I’ve had some great conversations with several folks thinking about it so if you’re interested contact me in the next week or so.
