Left Behind

by Beav on September 8, 2010

Sometimes pictures capture what is going on perfectly.  I submit the following as exhibit A which was taken just after I left the house with Morgan to take her to school.  Little brother is struggling.  He was slumping at breakfast today and saying in a pouty voice, “Just can’t go kindergarten”.He’ll be fine, but it’s almost been harder watching him go through this process than Morgan.  Look forward to sending him off to school one day too.  He’ll be ready!

But for now, it’s hard to get left behind….

Me, too! My mom told me I could go to school when I turned 5, so I put on my backpack and tried to walk out the door. But I'm an Oct. baby, so I had almost another year. I cried :( Love how attached Colin is to his big sister! This is a priceless picture.

It's the hardest part of the day right now to have to leave him behind when I take Morgan to school everyday. Today he told Morgan, "I'll be sitting on the bench" meaning he'd be waiting for her on the bench outside when she gets home.
